12:00= It is twelve o'clock.

9: 10 = It is ten ( minutes ) past nine 

In engleza nu exista ora 15,  ora 20 , ci exista ora 3 pm sau 8 pm .

a.m. = ante meridiam = intre 12 noaptea si 12 ziua 

p.m. = post meridiam = intre 12 ziua - 12 noaptea 

18: 30 = It is half past six p.m.

17: 23 = It is twenty-three past five p.m. 

5: 18= It is eighteen past five a.m . 

12: 12= It is twelve past twelve p.m.

7: 45 = It is quarter to eight a.m. 

10: 40 = It is twenty to eleven a.m .

22: 55 = It is five to eleven p.m.

10:35=  It is twenty- five to eleven a.m.

16 : 13 = It is thirteen past four p.m. 

21: 30 = It is half past nine p.m.

20: 20 = It is twenty past eight p.m.

23: 50 = It is ten to twelve p.m.

9 : 42= It is eighteen to ten a.m .
